The supplies • The supplies that I used while making the candles. • The brown pot was used to heat water • The silver pot was used to melt the wax • In the orange bag it wax coloring • The white chunk setting on the stove is the wax • Beside that is the wax thermometer and the scented oils for candles • Then the square silver mold is the wax mold maker.
Step Number One • First I had to put water into the big brown cooking pot.
Step Number 2 • Next I had to place the silver pot with the wax, into the brown pot to melt the wax.
Step Number 3 • This is a picture of the thermometer in the wax. The temperature needed to reach 185 before I could put it in the mold.
Step Number 4 • This is the wax just beginning to melt.
Step Number 5 • This was when I had added the coloring while the wax was still melting.
Step Number 6 • This is after the wax had melted and I had put the coloring in it. The color was a orange and peach color.
Step Number 7 • This is me adding the peaches and crème scent to the candle. I know they probably didn’t scent theirs, but I wanted too.
Final Step • This is my brother and I cleaning up the mess that was made, when the bottom of the candle mold fell out on me.
