  4. Our Institution • Centro de Estudos e FormaçãoAquilesEstaço, Lda(Portugal) is a Private enterprise in theaching area that owns Professional School Fialho de Almeida and, at the same time, is the promoting entity of this project. Long Life Learning Programme_Grundtvig

This Centre was created on the 1st September 1999 and it is the owner of the Vocational School - EscolaProfissionalFialho de Almeida (EPFA); • It provides professional or vocational courses (7 courses) that give the students secondary and professional qualifications. The School was born from a contract between the Portuguese Ministry of Education and two City Halls (in July, 1991); • UFCD (studies for adult people, to improve professional skills); • The City Hall of Vidigueira is, now, the school’s owner.   6. The school promotes international projects since 2003: Leonardo daVinci_Mobility and Partnerships, Comenius Bilateral and Multilateral, Comenius Assistent, Grundtvig and it is also responsible for local projects. Long Life Learning Programme_Grundtvig

MainGoal • Physical Therapy as a way to prevent diseases; • To promote healthy and active habits in order to achieve better health, social and civic competences; • To help adult people face the ageing challenge in a conscientious, active and responsible way. Sessions and debate about "Improving health skills in adult life" • Workshops/Sessions with specialists on the area of health, psychology and physical education; • Important tools to prevent physical and mental illness, because with this project our main goals are to develop adult people's health and well-being; • for people aged 45 years old and more, with lower education, retired or unemployed.   16. Sessions and debate • It will allow the learners to be informed, to debate and to be able to share experiences among them, to strengthen their interpersonal bonds and to avoid social isolation. The participants will be stimulated to promote their social relationships, in order to facilitate their learning process and to help them to improve their social and cultural life. ICT Workshop • Since January 2013; • Teaching in an non formal way ICT to learners between 45 and 77 years old; • The main purpose is: Learn how to use a computer; Get more confident using ICT and exploring communication over the internet with people from other countries.   21. We have 2 groups, one from Vidigueira and Vila de Frades and a group of Pedrógão. • 16 students. • The workshop takes place in Vidigueira at school "EscolaProfissionalFialho de Almeida". Long Life Learning Programme_Grundtvig

Other skills • Sharing knowledge and competences; • Learning about all the different cultures and traditions and observing different ways of working; • Promoting an active integration and inspire respect for different cultures, as well as encourage communication between people from different countries, widening all the participants' horizons and expectations.
