Introduction of the MP3 Technology developed by FraunhoferGesellschaft in the 90’s 1999 MP3 players began to sold on the market Benefit was that 12 times the data was now able to be stored without losing sound quality This saw the decrease in sales of CD’s and the take off of sales of MP3 players
