  4. Underground Storage Tanks • Hazards: toxic vapors, explosion, open excavation, confined space, heavy equipment • Restrictions: Do not enter the work zone • Responsibilities: Check contractor qualifications, facilitate HazMat sampling

  6. Contaminated Media • Hazards: toxic chemicals, open excavations, heavy equipment • Restrictions: Do not touch, do not enter the work zone • Responsibilities: check contractor qualifications, coordinate with Region HazMat for sampling

  19. Spills • Hazards: toxic vapors, dust, heavy equipment • Restrictions: Do not touch spill or enter spill area • Responsibilities: call Region Dispatch and HazMat ASAP, ensure contractor cleans up and have HazMat Coordinator approve cleanup

  20. Abandoned Hazardous Materials • Labeled sealed containers • Unidentifiable containers • Drug lab wastes
