Huawei Mate X 5G Foldable Phone with Kirin 980 SoC, Leica Optics Unveiled at MWC 2019 Huawei has finally unveiled the world's first collapsible 5G smart phone, the Huawei Mate X. The flexible-screen Android smart phone features the 'Falcon Wing' mechanical hinge and an outward folding screen that deploys to form a tablet 8 inches. The Huawei Mate X smart phone and 2-in-1 tablet have a flexible OLED panel. These have a diagonal double diagonal 6.28 inches and 6.6 inches true True View, folded like a smart phone. In terms of thickness, the phone's design is 11mm thick and turns into an 8-inch tablet of just 5.4mm thick. In the foldable Mate X, you'll find the Kirin 980 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage. The handset has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side of the power button.
