Creating Hyperlinks within the document Use the Textbox command from the Insert tab. Create a quick, but descriptive word that can be used as a hyperlink key. Create a slide for each page desired for your portfolio, and name them (Using the Header or Title box). From the first slide, click once on the word so that it is highlighted (Four corners should be white and a Green dot will appear over it for rotating (2007 Version). Right click and select the hyperlink option. Then click the “In this document” option from the far left in the “Link to” window. From the middle window in the same command box, chose the proper slide to link to from the “Slide Titles” area. The slide should preview in the window on the far right. Resume Home Slide Creating a Return Link • Using the Insert/textbox command, create a word that will clearly identify a return link. • Click once on the word until it is highlighted and then right click, and select “Place in the document” and then the title of your home page from the center window, or you can select “First Slide” from that same window. • Then press “OK” • You can save time by copying and pasting to each page (Except the first).
