  5. NEW BUILDINGS A pupose built complex with laboratories supported by office blocks was designed and built between 2001 and 2005.

  6. “PHYSICAL PROPERTIES” • Labs are built in modules of 7.2 m X 7.2 m. – total 13,868 m2 • The standard lab size is 51.84 m2 (range 12.96m2 to 233 m2). • Category 3/MAF 4 Lab areas (1,352 m2)– 5 separate areas. Histopathology – 155 m2 DublinRVL – 116 m2 Bacteriology – 285 m2 Virology – Labs 434 m2 Animal Holding – 362 m2 • Total “Lab Areas” – 15,220 m2 • General Air Exchange rates – 18 per hour • Pressures vary (gradients) - Normal; –30Hp, -70 Hp • Laboratory support Blocks – 2,995 m2
