Keystone Exams • End-of-course assessment designed to assess proficiency in: • Algebra 1 • Literature • Biology • Component of Pennsylvania’s system of high school graduation requirements.
Testing Dates • December 2015 • Retake of prior exam • May 2016 • End of course • Retake of prior exam • July 2016 • Retake of prior exam • Scores are released approximately 2 months later. • Proficient Score = 1500 or above • Highest level achieved posted on transcript (2017 and beyond)
Project Based Assessment • Students who are unable to meet Chapter 4 requirements relating to high school graduation requirements through the Keystone Exam may qualify to complete the PBA. Enrollment • Taken course • Unsuccessful after two attempts • MBIT student – Biology after one attempt • IEP student after one attempt • Religious exempted from Keystone
