Study Island teachers select the grade, subject, topic and number of questions for a CPS teacher-led session. Students read the problem, determine their answer and, use their “clickers” to register their response.
After the students respond, the teacher has the option to show the correct answer and its explanation.
For this example, 3 students are participating; their assigned “clicker” numbers turn dark blue when they have registered their response.
The teacher can choose to show the responses after everyone has voted.
The teacher can expand the display to show question-by-question results.
The teacher can later pull up an individual student’s stats to see how well they have mastered their KCAS standards for the coming K-Prep.
The teacher can then drill down into the results report to see the details for each topic.
The teacher can then click on “View Missed” to see the questions the student answered incorrectly for any session.
The teacher can then go over the missed questions with the individual student.
