Conclusions and Recommendations • Planning for standardization should be also important and considered previously when you adopt the new technologies and decide priority for the direction for the standardization • Criteria for selecting the Standards before R&SD should be considered as • applicability & availability, completeness & available, implementations, interoperability & technical maturity. etc. • Decision for selecting the standards or technologies should be considered by the selection & concentration strategy • Procedure of R&SD or Selection for Standards should be followed as Selection and Priority Survey and Selection General Trend / Analysis Budget Allocation for Standardization
Conclusions and Recommendations • A sort of Committees for standards should be considered to adopt standards for new technology(ex) standardization planning committee of SRM • there should be directors from government side for giving the advices from bottom-up’s Needs • Strategic importance and Ripple effect on economy should be considered for selecting the standards or technologies • Strategic importance : will of government, urgency, public interest. … • Ripple effect on economy : domestic marketability, ripple effect on other technologies
