The area under cultivation hasnot expanded due to barriers • Lack of incentives from the Government • Lack of Dissemination of market and price information • Under developed road and drainage infrastructures • Lack of Education and training • Youths are motivated to migrate to the overseas due to higher incentives • rubber’s susceptibility to insect and fungal attacks • Lack of networking among small owners
