1. Regard Yakou - Extensive Project Experience Regard Yakou is an experienced construction and project manager who is currently the Director of Operations at Contraco in Qatar. His extensive experience includes working on projects in the sectors of entertainment, resort construction, healthcare, multi-use buildings, residential construction, oil and gas exploration and dredging and reclamation. Through his work he has developed a wealth of knowledge that makes him a valued asset to Contraco. In addition to being a highly experienced project manager and business leader, Regard Yakou also has an interest in classic cars. He used to spend a lot of his spare time restoring old vehicles to pristine condition and his meticulous nature and ability to stay focused on his tasks aided him enormously in this endeavor. These are two skills that he also brings into his work.

2. Regard Yakou - Gulf International Regard Yakou is the former Senior Project Manager at Gulf International, where he oversaw various projects in Singapore and the Middle East. In this role he was responsible for the business development of the company’s engineering and construction projects in addition to the procurement and purchasing of all of the construction materials that would be used in the company’s projects. Regard Yakou began his professional career at Denlab International in San Diego, California following his graduation from Ohio State University with his degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for the company for the first ten years of his career, receiving a promotion to Vice President in the process. He focused on many sectors during this time, including development, construction, irrigation projects and a range of others.

3. Regard Yakou - Professional Memberships During the course of an extensive career in construction and project management, Regard Yakou has earned a number of professional memberships. He is a founding member of the Lien Construction UAE Chapter and has been a member of the American Concrete Institute since 1988. He is also a member of the Green Building Counsel and is a Licensed Construction Inspector in the City of Haywood, California. Regard Yakou has worked as the Vice President and Country Manager at Hill International since October 2013, focusing on the Middle East and North African areas. In this role he is responsible for eighteen projects, overseeing an overall construction cost of $15 billion. He needs to be able to manage the daily operations of around 300 professionals from various backgrounds and cultures in this role.

4. Regard Yakou - Accurate Building Contractors, Inc. Regard Yakou is the former Vice President of Accurate Building Contractors, Inc., where he worked on a number of large-scale projects for clients. The construction of the Fresno Medical Building for Penstar Group was one such project. The facility was created using a new concrete wall forming technology, becoming the first of its kind in California to make use of the innovation. Regard Yakou is a former Senior Project Manager at The Alley Group, for whom he worked on a number of prominent construction and renovation contracts. Amongst this projects were the renovation and system update that he oversaw for PepsiCo/Frito Lay, when he managed a 240 site renovation project that saw him take responsibility for managing and training 16 project managers.
