How do we do it? • Choose venues that people are comfortable visit • Respect the host and other services with whom we collocate • Select premises where we believe other occupants will respect our Credo and practice principles, and • Be driven by our Credo and Practice Principles in the way we occupy the building and use facilities
West Coast Co-location:why I don’t have a specific co-location • Pre-organised Co-location • Client directed meeting places • Confidentiality in Rural and Very Remote areas • Building Relationships • Challenging existing paradigms of people living on the west coast

PIR co-location at adult community mental health services: Positive outcomes: • Support from both MI Fellowship management and Mental Health Services in development of co-location. • Liaising with staff to facilitate referrals processes, information sessions, eligibility to Partners in Recovery etc. • Forging Collaborative working relationships. • Improving outcomes for consumers. Challenges: - Layout!- Being able to adapt to new systems of working (Eg. Language, abbreviations, assessment tools).
