Extended Balance of Payments Classification (EBOPS) 2010: • Manufacturingservices on physical inputs owned by others • Maintenance and repair services, not included elsewhere • Transport • Travel • Construction services • Insurance and pension services • Financial services • Charges for the use of intellectual property, not included elsewhere • Telecommunications, computer and information services • Other business services • Personal, cultural, and recreational services • Government goods and services, not included elsewhere
Complementary grouping 'Cultural transactions' composed of the following components: • Audio-visual transactions • Artistic related services • Licences to reproduce and/or distribute other products • Heritage and preservation services • News agency services • Other information services, excluding database and related services • Architectural services • Advertising services that are included in advertising, market research, and public opinion polling services; • Culture-related services that are not covered by the above items

Data availability at Eurostat • Since reference year 2013 – BPM 6 • For reference years 2010 – 2012 – both BPM 5 and BPM 6 • Prior 2010 – only BPM 5 • No data at disaggregated level for: • Audio-visual and related services – SK1 (no breakdown for SK11 and SK12) • A lot of data not available: flagged as confidential • Licences to reproduce/distribute audio-visual and related services (SH4) – 2014 data both for import and export available for very few EU countries • Great difference between the EU-28 aggregate and the sum for countries for which data are available
