Choosing paper • Grain • Weight • Weight of 500 sheets at specified sizes • Bulk (thickness or caliper) • Opacity (“show through” quality) • Brightness (reflective quality) • Finish (coated or uncoated)

Spacing • In published materials, a period should be followed by only one space. • To remove extra spaces, use the “Change” function in PageMaker. • Find two spaces. • Replace with one space. • Repeat until no instances can be found.
