  2. Repechage is a method of bracketing that affords a competitor who has lost a match the opportunity to continue as long as the opponent that they lost to proceeds to the championship Match.

  3. The following is an example of how to run a large division through this process.

  4. The division progresses normally through the bracket sheet until you reach the final match as illustrated in the next several slides.

  20. Rules of thumb: 1. If a competitor loses, they will remain eligible for a spot in the losers bracket until the person they lost to is defeated. 2. You must make it to the final match or win your respective losers bracket to advance to the medal rounds. 3. To win the gold medal you must not lose any matches.
