Interpret Figurative Language • “You’d better shake a leg,” the ants told the grasshopper. • “You will be up a tree if you aren’t prepared for winter.” • The ants worked like there was no tomorrow. • The ants were snug as a bug in a rug once winter came. • When winter came, the grasshopper was up a creek without a paddle.
