4. Our culinary faculty bring a wealth of knowledge to the classroom and kitchen. All are highly qualified, and have worked as chefs and managers in various hotels, restaurants, and food service establishments around the world.

5. Commercial Foodservice Equipment Our kitchen is equipped with the same modern commercial cooking equipment featured in hotels, restaurants, and commercial food service operations. 7. Personalized Instruction Our experienced culinary staff interact closely with our students to provide personalized instruction.
8. Culinary Arts Certificate Program We offer a 1 – year certificate program, with full – time study, in culinary arts.
These classes will apply towards our 2 – year associate degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Hotel Management, and Nutrition.
9. ACF / Nation’s Capital Chef’s AssociationCook’s Apprenticeship Program It is a 3 year period of paid training through full – time employment under the supervision of a qualified chef.
Apprentice attends classes at NVCC one day per week.
