  2. Early life and Education Albert Einstein • Born in Germany March 14, 1819 • First went to school at Luitpold Gymnasium. Later he moved to Italy and went to Aarau. Then went to Federal Polytechnic School to be trained to be a teacher in math in Switzerland,1896. He got his diploma in1901. • When he was little he was a late talker. “His parents were worried .At last , at the dinner table one night he broke his silence to say ,” This soup is too hot.’’ Greatly relieved his parents asked why he had never said a word before. Albert replied, “Because up to now everything is up to order.”

  3. Invention In 1926 he invented the Einstein Refrigerator with the help of a former student. It had no moving parts and it was an absorbent-style. It ran on a heat source not electricity, so people with no electricity Could also use it.

Four Interesting Facts • When he died(April 18, 1955)Thomas Harvey kept his brain to study it. • When he was born he was fat and had a big head. • His mother wanted him to love music so she made him do violin lessons but he hated it, though he did like to listen to classic music. • He married his very own cousin Elsa in 1919

Early life and EducationVirginia Apgar • Born in New Jersey June 7,1909 • Died in New York City August 7,1974 • She loved music, like her family. • She liked to play with science equipment at a young age. • After she graduated from High School she had interest learning about medicine. • She went to a collage to be a surgeon • Graduated in 1933

  7. Invention Apgar invented the Apgar New Born Scoring System in 1953 It shows the doctor's if the baby is healthy when it comes to the world

  8. Interesting Facts • Could play the violin, cello and the viola • She published a book called” Is my baby alright” • She never got married • After the age of 50 she still went, fishing, photography, gardening, and golfing
