Regional Economic Strategy • In common with the Overall Aims of 900756 GHG Emission umbrella, the aims of the project are: - • To move the region towards a low-carbon economy through • Diversification of the energy mix • Reduction in energy use (energy use, resource efficiency, sustainable construction) • To demonstrate that through a ‘sustainable development’ approach, the greenhouse gas target is not a barrier to economic development and regeneration.
