  3. Animal Behaviorist • Research the causes of the animal’s behavior (environmental impact, physiological processes) • Observe the behavior of different animals • Obtain funding for their research • Become undergraduate professors

  5. Education • A BA/BS to enter all of the animal behavior study positions. • The higher positions often require a Ph.D or D.V.M. • The majors that are suggested for entering this field are biology, psychology, Anthropology, and Chemistry.

Internships • College students can work at Animal Shelters, Zoos or Veterinary practices • The skills and experiences you can gain in any of the above internships are to: • Communicate not only with co-workers but being able to comprehend the animals needs • The specific requirements an animal may need daily

  8. Opportunity to Learn New Skills An animal behaviorist is constantly picking up new skills through mentors or through the work itself there is always something new to learn about the psych and responses animals have to different stimulations.

  11. Art Director • Art Directors come up with the visual concept for everything from billboard advertisements to magazine layouts to videos and websites. • Not all work in advertising; some create the look of editorial publications, such as newspapers.
