Modern-day lenses are vulnerable and improper cleaning may result in its damage if it doesn't have an anti-scratch coat. For an optimum vision following tips may help you get a clear and scratch free spectacles.

  3. Handle with care Eyewear should be handled with care, don't pull them out with one hand. This will damage your frame and place your fingerprints on the lens. It's better to use both of your hands while putting them on or when you are placing them on the case. Now several styles of sunglasses have an anti-scratch coating that protects the lens from scratches and needs only care and maintenance.

  4. Avoid chemicals Lenses are sensitive to chemicals so don't use harsh soap and household chemicals on your sunglasses. Use lens cleaning spray and wipes to clean your eyewear. Put cleaning spray on the microfiber cloth not on the sunglasses directly, it may damage the drill holes which are used to connect the frames.

  5. Store Safely Store spectacles in a hard case when you are not using them. If you don't have a case or a cover then try to place them in a safe place. Place the lens upside and the frame downwards, if you are not keeping it safe and put it randomly with other accessories then there are chances of scratches and smudges which will damage your glass ultimately.

  6. Don't use dry wiping Most of the people who wear specs make a common mistake, they clean their eyewear with dry wipes. This damages the coating on the lens and eventually cause scratches. Some people use their breath to add some moisture while cleaning, this is not a good habit and doesn't benefit you, so try to remove this bad habit.
