Information • They want schools together and have diverse classes. • They want a mix of students with varying backgrounds and experiences who will respect and learn from one another. • This issue was finally decided by the supreme court. • It ruled that the university of Michigan's undergraduate admissions program was unconstitutional because it violated the equal protection cause. • This was in keeping of the Brown vs. Board of education because they both wanted diverse schools.
