CARD READERS There are 4 card readers; One for each of the 4 rooms.
ADT Alarm SystemUSING YOUR CARD Present your green card to the black “card reader.” You will hear a click and should then be able to open the door. If the door does not open, this indicates: ● You need to press forward on the door then pull! OR●You have no permission to the room. Contact Security!
N E X T Security Command Keypad OPENING & CLOSING PROCEDURE
There are FOUR of these keypads, one for each room. They are totally independent from each other.
Security Command Keypad SYSTEM IS ONLINE
Security Command Keypad RED LIGHT INDICATES SYSTEM IS ARMED.
Security Command Keypad 16 Keys Besides the number keys 0-9, there are 3 basic interface areas: 1 “Command Key” 1 “Back Arrow” key 4 “Select” keys at top ARM DISARM 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
Opening in Morning • 1. Present card at Main Entrance • 2. At room, enter Combo in X-09 • 3. Present Green Access card & enter room – alarm will sound. • 4. Enter your 4-digit code, then press Command Key • At NO – YES choice, choose YES to disarm alarm. • Display should now read: “ALL SYSTEMS OFF”
Closing at Night • 1. Complete Area Checklist • 2. Enter room, close door completely • Press Command key once • Press key directly below ARM (left side) • Enter your 4-digit code • At NO – YES choice, choose YES to ARM system.You have 60 seconds to exit! • Spin X-09, then swipe your access card and pull door toensure it is locked.
