  4. Acceptable Proof & Eligibility • What is acceptable customer proof of eligibility? • Click for Texas proof examples • What is an acceptable customer signature and upload into the system? • Click for power point presentation

  5. “Texas Process” Training • What is the Texas database and what does it do? • Texas’ database is managed by the Solix company and every eligible person receiving specific Lifeline assistance is listed in the database. • What does the database check for? • SNAP, CHIP and Medicaid. • What does the database not check for? • SSI, Public Housing, TANF, LIHEAP, National School Lunch Program.

  6. “Texas Process” Training • Choosing SNAP, CHIP or Medicaid: • You will not upload proof during the registration process. • After you see “Registration Complete” the customer information you entered is checked against the database.

  7. Customer “Not Eligible” By Solix • If your customer is deemed “Not Eligible” in the database, you may still sign up the customer. Ask the customer if he/she receives and has proof of assistance for: • SSI • LIHEAP • Public Housing • National School Lunch Program • TANF • Or anything allowing you to qualify through Income Based

  8. Customer “Not Eligible” By Solix • Use one of the other proofs of assistance and go through the registration again: • SSI, LIHEAP, Public Housing, National School Lunch Program, TANF or anything allowing you to qualify through Income Based. • The system will require you to upload proof during registration. • If customer does not have any other proof of assistance, try to qualify via Income Based. • Click for Texas proof packet.
