Flinders University Awards & Grants • Faculty Teaching Awards Applications due: 31 July 2009 (EHLT) • Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching Call for nominations: 31 August 2009 • Teaching & Learning Innovation Grants Call for submissions: 31 August 2009 • Flinders Teaching Quality Network Seed Grants Open to FTQN members to assist with ALTC application

ALTC Awards for University Teaching • Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning $10,000 Applications close May • Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning • Awards for Teaching Excellence $25,000 • Prime Minister's Award for Australian University Teacher of the Year $50,000 • Career Achievement Award Applications close July

ALTCGrants Scheme The Grants Scheme has three programs: • Competitive Grants Program 2010 EOI/Full Proposals Due: 5 November 2009 • Leadership for Excellence in Learning and Teaching Program 2010 EOI/Full Proposals Due: March 2010 • Priority Projects Program 2010 EOI/Full Proposals Due: April 2010

ALTCFellowships National Teaching Fellowships (formerly Senior Fellowships) • Up to 5 available, max funding: $350,000 per fellowship • Outstanding scholars in their fields • Closing date: February 2010 Teaching Fellowships (formerly Associate Fellowships) • Up to 10 available, max funding: $100,000 per fellowship • Prominent scholars in their disciplinary fields • Closing date: February 2010
