  3. The first painting, John did is "Hey Kid, Pick Me". In this story you will meet Spinnaker, a rough and tumble pup who is all skinned up, missing part of his ear and his tail. The story tells about how he got this way and how he ended up at the pound.

  4. This second painting is Hey Kid, I'm Patches. In this story, Patches is truly a naïve puppy brought to the pound by a young couple who didn't want him after all. He has no idea what awaits him at the end of the day. The idea of these stories is that this is the 30th day and if they are not adopted today, it is over for them. The first painting, John did is "Hey Kid, Pick Me". In this story you will meet Spinnaker, a rough and tumble pup who is all skinned up, missing part of his ear and his tail. The story tells about how he got this way and how he ended up at the pound.

  5. The third painting is Hey Kid, I'm a War Dog. This is a story of a war dog whose handler has been killed in the war, and as such, he ended up in the pound. He accepts that no one wants him as even the people who run the pound talk against him.
