50 Cent & Tekashi 6ix9ine Get Cozy Legendary rapper has obviously taken to the industry’s newcomer, Tekashi 6ix9ine. Nobody is surprised since these two share a lot in common. Both rappers have a tendency towards beefing with multiple people – often all at once – not to mention they enjoy trolling the internet. Then there is the big commonality of… outlandish personalities, to put it lightly. With so much in common it only seems natural they would get cozy and team up for a collaboration. That awaited announcement came this past weekend, when the two announced they had a co-song coming out called “Get The Strap.” The song is titled after 50 cent’s popular catchphrase. In addition to Fifty and Tekashi, Uncle Murda will also feature on the upcoming track. The track is set to premiere on Power–50’s hit television show. If you’re set to watch, it’ll be on episode 8. How do we know this? An associate of Uncle Murda – Blanco – leaked the news via Instagram. Although his original post has since been deleted, it wasn’t quick enough to stop the spread of news. Another source (this time unknown) has set a short clip of the track to circulate the web. In the clip you can hear 50 Cent rap “It was just a matter of time ‘for they got tired of all the pussy shit,” followed by a knocking noise. 50 can then be heard laughing sinisterly before he drops the infamous catchphrase. About Tekashi 6ix9ine Tekashi was born Daniel Hernandez in 1996. He hails from Brooklyn, New York, US, and is hard to miss. With hair and teeth both colored like the rainbow, he stands out amongst the crowd before he even opens his mouth. Once he does, Tekashi is well known for hard-hitting lyrics and a rap style that is right in your face. Although his rise to fame included appearing on numerous infamous internet memes making fun of him, Tekashi has moved on to produce several chart-topping tracks. He proves daily that haters can give you rise to fame just as much as fans do. About 50 Cent 50 Cent was born Curtis James Jackson III in 1975. Hailing from Queens, New York, US, Fifty is well known for his work with G-Unit and The Game in addition to his solo work. He has worked with several record labels, including Aftermath, Shady, G-Unit, and Interscope. Although his popularity has died down a bit in recent years, he’s had one heck of a career. 50 Cent has worked with a long list of other all-star rap artists. Just a scant few of these include Dr. Dre, Eminem, Missy Elliot, Snoop, JT, Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, Busta Rhymes, and Lil Kim. Coming up might be a collaboration with Pharrell. The R&B artist stated he wants to record an album with Fifty, but no word yet on what 50 Cent has responded to that request. It is definitely a project to keep an eye on for the future.
