Map 2: Care and treatment sites in Tanzania • Select Tanzania (or any other specific ICAP country). • Uncheck the box indicating Sites Jan-Mar 2009. • Check the box indicating Care-Treatment Jan-Mar 2009. • Use the scroll bar underneath the care and treatment layer and select Default. (Default will show all of the care and treatment sites in the selected country).
Map 3New ART enrollment in care and treatment sites • Select Tanzania (or any other specific ICAP country). • Uncheck the box indicating Sites Jan-Mar 2009. • Select the box indicating Care-Treatment Jan-Mar 2009. • Use the scroll bar underneath the care and treatment layer and select new ART patients.

(Default will show all PMTCT sites in the selected country). • Check the box that indicates DHS HIV Prevalence.

Zooming • At any time you can zoom in on an area of the map. • To zoom, make sure that the zoom tool is selected on the tool bar located on the left side of the page. • Use your mouse to click and drag around the area that you would like to zoom in on.
Saving • To save a map, change the map from simple to advanced. This will add more options onto the tool bar located on the left side of the page. On the tool bar, you will see a floppy disk symbol. Select the floppy disk symbol and save the map to the desired location. • To upload a saved map, change the map from simple to advanced. Click on the open folder located on the tool bar. A page will open where you can browse for the previously saved map. When you select the map from your computer, click load context and your map will upload onto the program as it was saved.
Powerpoint and other files • To save a map for use in programs such as PowerPoint, you must save the map differently. When you have finished creating the map you want, select the printer view located on the tool bar. • A separate page will open where you can select a title for the created map, change the orientation and size of the map, etc. • You can print the map by selecting printable view. • You can download the map by selecting download. • After clicking on download, you can save the map to a desired location on your computer and open it on programs such as PowerPoint. • To add a legend, take a screenshot of the legend (Alt+Print Screen) and then paste it into the desired file medium.
