Article 1 • Interviews carried out in three municipalities, two of them with under 15.000 inhabitants and the third in a medium sized municipality • Interviews with 28 persons between 15-18 (under legal age for alcohol drinking) • Interviews mostly conducted in Youth centers (fritidsgårdar) • Ethnology (?) Findings from interviews, surveys and meetings (work in progress) • The “street” arenas for binge drinking has moved into the homes • Very few admit having used illegal drugs or having knowledge • Professional youth workers no longer have (easy) access to the indoor arenas • Parents knowledge ?   14. New arenas, my own thoughts • Control • In bigger municipalities the city center is taken over by grownups (uteserveringar), in smaller places there are few pubs/restaurants • Tired of professional and voluntary adults out on the “streets” Birgitta Ander 27/8 2012
