  7. He attends every service Heb. 10:25 (Job 1:6) • His presence is disruptive • What about our presence? • Reverent in attitude & conduct, Neh. 8:5-6; Acts 2:42 • Are we worshiping in spirit & truth? (Jno. 4:24)

He attends every elders meeting (Heb. 13:7, 17) • Tries to divide elderships, Acts 20:29-31 • Promotes attitude of Diotrephes, 3 Jno. 9-11 (1 Pet. 5:2-3) • Promotes not following their lead: • By false & unfounded charges, 1 Tim. 5:19-20 • By murmuring against them, 1 Ths. 5:12-13 • By “choosing sides” (1 Cor. 1:12-13)

  9. He attends every men’s business meeting • All levels of spiritual maturity present • Consensus needed to work together • More & more are advocating women in decision meetings, 1 Tim. 2:11-12; 1 Cor. 14:34-35

  10. He attends every Bible class • Promotes wrong attitudes toward & wrong uses of God’s word • Argumentative, 2 Tim. 2:14, 23 • Playing the “devil’s advocate” • Raises doubts & stumbling blocks, Matt. 18:6-7; Rom. 16:17 • Tries to usurp control of classes, 1 Tim. 2:12

  11. He visits every Home • Sits at every dinner table • Satan doesn’t give thanks…do you? 1 Tim. 4:4-5 (Acts 27:33-36) • He offers all forms of evil entertainment, Eph. 5:8-11 (1 Cor. 15:33-34) • He is present at every disagreement, Eph. 4:25-27

  12. He is zealous & diligent (1 Pet. 5:8) • He uses every situation against you, 2 Cor. 12:7 • To discourage you (12:8) • To cause you to doubt God (12:9-10) • To undermine your faith (Jas. 1:2-4) • Watch & pray; see & do God’s will in faith,Rom. 8:31, 37

  13. Do not be ignorant of his devices! (2 Cor. 2:11) • Ignoring Satan is fertile soil for him to wreck havoc on your soul (2 Cor. 2:11) • Watch & pray to not enter temptation (Matt. 26:41) • Armor of God protects us, but we must put it on (Eph. 6:10-17)
