  1. Top 7 Reproductive Health Issues In Women A healthy reproductive system is vital for a female's wellbeing and fertility. Poor health status reduces the chances of getting pregnant and a?ects the quality of life. Furthermore, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and consuming a balanced diet is essential to avoid infertility and reproductive disorders. Otherwise, it becomes di?cult for couples to conceive the child naturally. As a result, women have to take infertility treatment in Punjab, Delhi, Hyderabad, or other states of India. From IVF to surrogacy, many medical procedures are available; which one suits you will depend on the cause of infertility.

  2. Now let us look at the key reproductive health problems in females. ● Endometriosis These disorders occur when the tissues lines in the womb tend to grow outwards. The main cause of the abnormal growth of endometrial tissues is hormonal imbalance in the body. It leads to severe inflammation and pain around the uterus. Moreover, with time these tissues will become thicker, break down, and be trapped in the pelvis region, causing irritation, severe pain, and fertility issues. Therefore, it would be better to see the physician upon detecting endometriosis at the earliest. ● Uterine Fibroids It is a noncancerous tumor made with connective tissue. Uterine fibroids are found around the uterus area and a?ect the pelvic area. Although it does not stop you from conceiving but increase the chances of miscarriage. Heavy bleeding during menstruation, severe back pain, frequent urination, and uncomfort during intercourse are also common signs of Uterine Fibroids. ● Cervical Cancer Every year around 11,000 women get a?ected by this reproductive disease. It is a serious public health issue caused by human papillomavirus. This virus a?ects the cervix cells ( a cylinder-shaped organ that connects the uterus and vagina). It is quite hard to detect cervical cancer in the early stage. All you can do is get vaccinated against human papillomavirus to protect yourself from this deadly cancer. ● HIV AIDS The human immunodeficiency virus a?ects the immune system and alleviates the ability to fight against infection. Unfortunately, many women become victims of this virus by coming into physical contact with men who are already infected with HIV. Also, it has been observed that females from minority races are at high risk of AIDS.

  3. All pregnant women need to know their HIV status early to take e?ective measures to protect their babies from the virus. Although the disease cannot be completely cured, the devastating e?ects of the virus can be controlled with proper medical care. ● PCOS PCOS is defined as Polycystic ovary syndrome and occurs when a female's ovaries produce an excessive amount of male hormone. It results in formations of cysts in the ovary and a?ects the fertility of the patient. As per recent studies, PCOS also increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes in females. Pelvic pain, excessive hair fall, abnormal hair growth on chest, face, thumb, dandru?, etc., are some symptoms of PCOS, etc., which should not be ignored at all. ● Interstitial Cystitis IC is a very painful condition that causes discomfort around the pelvic area and bladder. Usually, the patient with Interstitial Cystitis feels irritation and inflammation around the bladder. Although IC can a?ect anyone, it is more common in females. Tenderness, stomach sti?ness, urge to frequent urination, abdominal pressure are other few other signs of this disorder. Unfortunately, this reproductive disease a?ects your ability to conceive a baby. ● Damaged Fallopian Tubes There are two fallopian tubes in the female body- they connect the ovaries to the uterus. Pelvic inflammatory disease and tuberculosis a?ect the functioning of these tubes. If they get damaged or blocked, the fertilized egg will not reach the uterus, and you will have di?culty in getting pregnant. However, IVF centers in Patiala, Chandigarh, Mohali, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and other big cities of Punjab can solve this problem through assisted reproductive technology.

  4. Final Words -: Apart from the above factors, obesity is also harmful to reproductive system functioning. Hence, it is pivotal to pay attention to a balanced diet to manage a healthy weight. Furthermore, reproductive health is directly related to fertility- to increase your chances of conception, you need to prevent yourself from reproductive disorders.
