  4. Pete stepped in a small pile of 5 blueberries and 2 raspberries. How many berries did he step in altogether? 5 + 2 = 7

  5. Pete stepped in a small pile of 5 cherries and 5 raspberries. How many berries did he step in altogether? 5 + 5 = 10

  6. Pete made new friends at school. He met 6 boys and 4 girls. Now how many friends does Pete have? 6 + 4 = 10

  7. Pete stepped in a small pile of 8 cherries and 2 raspberries. How many berries did he step in altogether? 8 + 2 = 10

  8. Pete’s favorite snack is cookies. He has 8 cookies and will share his cookies with 4 friends. How many cookies will each friend have? 8 - 4 = 2
