You are Here The Following items should be Completed or In-Progress NOW: • Student Profile (Naviance) and shared with recommenders • Updating Naviance with “Colleges I’m Applying to” • Creating and Linking the Common Application with Naviance • Beginning/Completing the applications • Personal Statement/Supplemental Essay & other requirements • Scholarship Searching • Taking SAT/SAT II/ACT & having scores sent via College Board Remember, this is a process:

  7. Looking for Scholarships? Web Searches: Did you know that web searches can lead you to thousands of different scholarships? You can also find scholarships through: Naviance and William Tennent Naviance and William Tennent scholarship opportunities will be available throughout the year. Keep checking Naviance and listen for daily announcements. Raise.Me & Google Classroom for Class of 2019

  8. Do you still have community service hours to log? If you want your Community Service Hours on your transcript for your College/University, please make sure all hours are entered by Monday, October 1, 2018 DIRECTIONS: www.centennialsd.org---> WTHS--->Guidance-->Community Service Check your current transcripts for accuracy Community Service Hours are often a great way to earn scholarships!

REMINDERS: • Follow ALL Deadlines & Read Directions Carefully • Save all passwords/information somewhere accessible • Letters of REC: • Teachers Upload in Naviance • Transcript Release Form should be handed in AFTER your application is COMPLETE and SAT SCORES SENT/ PLANNING TO SEND • Counselors: At LEAST 10 days • Teachers: At LEAST two weeks before submitting your transcript release form • A Thank You Note is Appreciated

Transcript Release Form SAMPLE TRANSCRIPT RELEASE FORM • One Form for EVERY APPLICATION • Indicate letters of rec in the order you want them to be accepted by the institution • Bring back to Mrs. Bielawski once you have submitted your application • SAT/ACT/SAT II are not included on the transcript and should be sent simultaneously when ready for the transcript and letter of recs • SELF-REPORTING SCHOOLS
