Task 2.2 Heritage practice (RCL) (3) Heritage research aims to enhance the understanding, conservation and sustainable use of heritage, and delivers societal benefit through supporting the work of other actors in the heritage sector and beyond. However, better cooperation between research institutions and non-academic communities is needed to ensure that research has greater relevance and impact in the heritage field, and society at large.
