  5. When someone answers, tell them: • Your name My name is Billy Smith • What your emergency is My house is on fire • Where your emergency is 125 Black Road • Where you are calling from My neighbor’s house • Be calm - don’t be afraid • Speak slowly and clearly

  6. When should you call 9-1-1 • Report an accident • Report a fire • Report a serious injury • If you or someone else is in danger

  7. Should you call 9-1-1 if: • You fall and skin your knee? NO • Someone falls off a ladder and is bleeding? YES • You can’t find your dog or cat? NO • You have a fire in your house? YES
