Prezi Outline Brittany Wahila PREZI TOPIC How to Wash Your Hands CENTRAL IDEA This how to prezi will teach student how easily germs are spread and why we need to wash our hands as well as the proper steps to wash hands correctly. THE SUPPORTING MATERIALS I used pictures from google: hand, examples of germs being spread, stairs, and hand sanitizer. I also used a youtube video. I researched the proper steps to washing hands online as well. INTRODUCTION Get the Attention Why is it so important to make sure we wash our hands? Germs are everywhere! Let’s see where some common germs come from that we come in contact with everyday! How to Greet Them I think this is important to teach and I wanted to teach this because it is an important skill everyone does not always do properly or often enough. Preview the Main Points This prezi is about why we must wash our hands, how germs are spread and steps to washing hands correctly. Tell What's In Learning how to wash your hands correctly prevents the it for them spread and contact with germs that cause us to get sick. That means we will stay healthier and we will keep others around us more healthy by not sharing our germs with them. This is also a way to keep good hygiene.

BODY SECTION • Main Point I-Why should we wash our hands? • Subpoint 1-Germs are on our toilet seat and handle.(bacteria, fungus, feces,urin, etc.) • Subpoint 2-Germs come from our bodies when we sneeze. (cold germs, viruses,and more) • Subpoint 3-Germs come from animals.( wild and house pets- especially feathers found outside. They are a huge germ carrier because we don’t know what kind of diseases or things that bird may have touched.) • Subpoint 4- Germs that cause us to cough are easily spread, even when we cover our mouths. ( The germs on our hands end up spreading to whatever we touch. This is why we should cough into our nooks!) • Subpoint 5- Germs are spread when we shake hands.
