ELIGIBILITY • Students from grades 9 to 12. • High quality projects (and preferable if students have in the past presented a project at a higher level fair e.g. Provincial Fair, CWSF). • Science Resources • NO Study Projects. Must use experimental methods or design (tested and works). • Collection of videos • Must be able to travel to USA (in May) with valid passport.

Intel ISEF Rules Please read the Rules & Regulations and go to the forms to identify the type of project you are working on, where it is being done, etc. and then determine what the required forms are. There is a Rules Wizard to determine forms need for the different project categories. Link to Rules Wizard Website EXAMPLE a possible response to a MICRO-ORGANISMS type project: Forms to be filled out: • Checklist for Adult Sponsor (1) • Student Checklist (1A) and Research Plan • Approval Form (1B) • Official Abstract Form • Regulated Research Institutional/Industrial Setting Form (1C) • Qualified Scientist Form (2) • Potentially Hazardous Biological Agents Form (6A) ….can be downloaded in PDF format.

  7. GET INVOLVED! The IISEF is a great experience for participants to meet other international students and present their projects in the “Science Fair Olympiad”. They will be judged by high profile Scientists and Nobel Laureates. ****************************************************************** For students to be considered at the MRSTF, the SRC must have drafts ofthe ABSTRACT and PROJECT PLAN (with experimental details and procedures) by December 15, 2011 For projects that require SRC approval before experimentation! A second and final deadline of February 24, 2012 will be allowed.
