  2. All Ready • All ready( two words) – adverb + adverb meaning: ready with the word all. • We were all ready to study grammar

  3. Already • Already- Adverb meaning: by now, previously, even now, or by then. • The airplane had already left when we arrived. • Way to remember: If you are saying everyone or everything being it is two different words.

  4. Respectfully • Respectfully- (adverb) meaning with respect • My cat does not talk as respectfully to me as I do to her.

  5. Respectively • Respectively- adverb meaning : one by one, in the order designated or mentioned. • The roles of ghost and detective are played respectively by comedians Michael Meyers and Seth Forbes.

  6. Amount • Amount- (noun) Amount words relate to quantities of things that are measured in bulk ( with the exception of money). • Do not use up too great an amount of space.

  7. Number • Number- ( noun) Things to be counted • I have a number of cakes to eat! • Way to remember: Numbers can be counted, amounts are measured in bulk.

  8. Beside • Beside (adverb) along the side of something • Ms parker’s car is parked beside mine.

  9. Besides • Besides (adverb) in addition to • Besides the puppy chow, Spot ate up the filet mignon I was going to serve for dinner.

  10. Capitol • Capitol-(noun) The building statehouse for any legislature. • Our capitol building is Downtown • Way to remember: Congress meets in the capitol.

  11. Capital • Capital ( noun) the city or town that is the  official seat of government in a country, state, Tokyo is the capital of Japan. • Way to remember: The big letter that starts a sentence (common noun) or also a city!
