  3. Spheres of Influence European powers come to Asia in 19th Century for goods and trade. Easily taking Control of large plots of land due to military advantages .

  4. Boxer Rebellion 1900 Chinese militants attacked and killed Europeans and Christian Chinese in China. Multiple countries of 20,000 defeat Boxers.

  5. General Mao Zedongand Communism 1949 Mao Zedong and Communist win control of China. Nationalist flee to Taiwan.

  10. Mongolia Genghis Khan, one of the greatest conquers, expanded the Mongolian Empire.

  11. Mongolia Today Herding is the main way of life in Mongolia. Many people are nomadic, living in yurts.

  12. Economic Tigers and Pacific Rim The Economic tigers/dragons have boomed in the last 25 years. They provide cheap labor, shipping, and have large commercial zones or Special economic zones. Pacific Rim stretches from Australia to North America to Asia. Huge trade routes between those 3 continents.

  13. Three Kingdoms The Koreans were defeated in part by the Chinese and 3 Kingdoms developed. In 1392 Songgye Dynasty developed until 1910 when Japan invaded.

What does the A-Bomb do? • Temperature at ground zero 7000 degrees F • Clothes burnt off people 1.25 miles away • 980 mph wind at ground zero • 190 mph wind over 1 mile away, still knocks most buildings down • Radiation is the worst, Everyone within ½ mile of ground zero died within a few weeks
