  12. LNG Infrastructure Present & Future • PLL’s Dahej terminal has been expanded to 10 MMTPA last year. • The Hazira terminal of Shell with a capacity of 2.5 MMTPA is operational. • planned Kochi terminal of PLL with a capacity of 5 MMTPA is expected by 2011-12. • The 5 MMTPA Dabhol terminal is projected to be operational in 2011 without breakwater and fully after completion of breakwater. • IOCL is planning for 2.5 mmtpa ennore terminal in Tamil Nadu.

  13. Demand & Supply analysis: (mmscmd) Large Potential for R-LNG/ imported gas in next three years

  14. India Preferred Location for LNG: • Huge demand supply gap • Rapidly growing economy • Development New transpiration capacity almost doubling the present transportation capacity. • Potential for relatively flexible off-take • Emergence of new gas market • India import around 5.2% of total LNG traded in the world in 2009.
