In your notebook, Rate Each of the following statements on a scale of 1-6. 1- Strongly Agree 3 - Indifferent 6 – Strongly disagree • Friendship is more important than the truth. • Relationships depend on good communication. • Never let others make decisions for you. • Members of a family share similar moral values. • Knowing right from wrong means following your heart. • Too much thinking will get you in trouble.

DOING THE RIGHT THING IS NEVER EASY. • TAKING REVENGE ON SOMEONE IS OKAY IF NO ONE GETS HURT. • CRIMINAL ACTS REQUIRE PUNISHMENT. • PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD INFLUENCE JUSTICE. • THE BALANCE OF NATURE MAY BE SACRIFICED TO SUPPORT ONE’S FAMILY. • GOOD FRIENDSHIPS LAST FOREVER. NOW, DISCUSS YOUR ANSWERS WITH YOUR PARTNER.

Under each trait, explain why that trait is important for that friend to have. • Example: Trait: caring Explanation: Many times we need the support of our friends to help us through times that are difficult. If friends are caring, then they are able to understand and help figure out ways to make it through those times. Share one trait with the class.
