Two Ways to Participate • SIDES E-Reponse: • Designed for a lower volume of UI claims. • Does not require any special programming or software. • SIDES Web Service: • Designed for a higher volume of UI claims and for employers/TPAs who operate in multiple states. • Requires coordination with NASWA to implement special programming for a computer-to-computer interface.
SIDES Web Service • File a Power of Attorney with the EDD. • Sign a Participation Agreement with NASWA. • Confirm participation in SIDES Web Service. • Perform system testing. • Start using SIDES Web Service.
