INCIDENT/ACCIDENT PROTOCOL • All incidents/accidents should be recorded and reported to the PCBU within 24 hours. • For example, if a small fire has started in a computer room: • Because it is safe to do so, put out the fire with an extinguisher. • Contact the First Aid Officer to treat minor burns. • Record the incident and accident, the date, and the injury and contact the PCBU within 24 hours of the event occurring.
FIRST AID PROCEDURES • Contact the First Aid Officer. • Dial 000 if necessary. • The First Aid kit is kept in the main areas. EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURES • Follow the warden’s instructions. • Leave the building in a quick and safe manner. • Assemble at the meeting point. • Conduct a head count. • Dial 000 if necessary.
