Fire Demon Fire Demons are excellent at dealing lots of damage, both to single targets and to groups. Fire Demons are one of the few Demons that actually discards Powerups; a risky but powerful tactic. Fire Demons have air control abilities similar to the Dust Demon’s Pressure Forge, but Fire Demons sacrifice the amount of air they can control for the ability to sharpen the air like a giant sword. Fire Demons look like they are standing, but they are actually flying. Since Fire Demons don’t usually move anything except their head and arm, it is hard to tell. Essential Fire Demon Essential and Ancient Fire Demons work in mostly the same way as their Standard version. Singe Coil and Inferno Blast are more powerful versions of Spitfire, sacrificing Fire Powerups to deal lots of damage cheaply in an area. Pressure Twin Slash is a direct extension of Pressure Slash, but Pressure Tetra-Slash lets the Ancient Fire Demon recover the Fire Powerups discarded by earlier attacks. A player that manages to keep their Fire Powerups in the game, however, can bring the attack to its full potential of 90 damage, enough to bring down most Essential Demons in one hit. Whether an Elder Fire Demon can, or should, be summoned is debatable. Ancient Fire Demons are already so hot that they can’t be summoned indoors. Could a person survive summoning an Elder Fire Demon? Instant Ignition Searing Soul 1 hand 1 hand 5 reflex 4 reflex Fire Demons tend to go through Fire Powerups fairly quickly, but Fire Demons that have enough Fire to work with can solve their own problems. The Searing Soul card lets a Fire Demon not only heal itself and deal minor damage, but also bring back a Fire Powerup that was already discarded. The drawback is that a Fire Demon that uses Ignite won’t be able to use anything else that turn, so you need other Demons to keep on attacking. Essential Fire Demons tend to use Weapons more often than their Standard versions, but Ammo eventually runs out. However, with a lot of Powerups and the Instant Ignition card, an Essential Fire Demon can keep fighting at full strength while holding an unused Weapon.
