Creative Technology – Oxymoron? • Premise in answering this question: • Technology itself is not creative. • But it can enable human creativity: • Providing new methods for creating art, games, music. • Can be supporting either conventional methods, or enabling completely new art forms. • Initial answer: yes, the term “Creative Technology” is an Oxymoron. • But: “Artificial Creativity” is a current research topic.
