Electromechanical, and 4. Electronic The premechanical age was a time when stories were told to pass information and communicate.

  5. Impact on Education Three-quarters of teachers say they consistently use technology in the classroom. 94% of students say they use technology to work on homework assignments. Blackboard.com is a virtual classroom that provides students with course materials, post and store assignments, and receive feedback from their professors and fellow students. Teachers also use Smartboards to present information in an interactive way in the classroom.

  7. Impact on Business World Communication technologies have changed the pace of businesses. Information travels faster and is more reliable. Outsourcing is hiring employees who work outside the country for production or services. Companies can keep track of their technologies easier.
