Procurement Description • City of Phoenix is seeking qualified Job Order Contractors on an “on-call” basis • Up to 2 contractors may be selected • Performance & Payment Bonds required for each Job Order Agreement • No interviews – 2nd step is RFP process (selecting 4 contractors to move forward) • Job order agreements performed under this Contract may be executed for up to $2,000,000 each in construction costs • JOC for 36-month duration or complete utilization of initial contract value w/ one 24-month option to extend and increase capacity
Scope Of Work • Removal and replacement of non ADA compliant sidewalk curb ramps as well as deteriorated or damaged concrete curb, gutter, valley gutters with and/or without aprons, and sidewalk. • Installation of new sidewalk and ADA compliant sidewalk curb ramps in accordance with MAG and/or Phoenix Supplement to MAG and/or field designed to retrofit existing conditions within the dedicated public right-of-way on Major Arterial, Collector, Local and Industrial streets within Phoenix city limits, as detailed below.
Scope Of Work At a minimum, the JOC Contractor will be expected to successfully perform the following construction services, including but not limited to: • Set up and take down traffic control devices in accordance with the City of Phoenix Traffic Barricade Manual. • Excavate, prepare subgrade, set concrete forms to match existing grade and drainage elevations, pour and finish concrete valley gutters with and/or without aprons, curb and gutter, alley and driveway entrances and sidewalk to match existing elevations and drainage. • Excavate, prepare subgrade, form to fit field conditions, pour and finish ADA compliant concrete sidewalk ramps, including the installation of detectable warning. • Replace asphalt concrete pavement to match existing asphalt pavement and new concrete. • Adjust utility junction boxes, man and hand hole covers. • Other services as may be required, incidental to this JOC.
