Enabling Gameplay on an Xbox 360 By Ben Dodd
Step 1: AV component Plug the AV component cable into the Console and switch to the HD setting if you are using a HD supported television or keep to the standard if you are not. Plug the parallel end of the AV component into the back of a Television/monitor. Plug the red (Audio Right), White (Audio Left) and Yellow (Video) cables into there corresponding ports, the Red, blue and Green cables can also be used for slit screen video between two screens.
Step 2: Wireless and Power (Optional) Plug a Xbox 360 Wireless adapter into the USB slot at the back of the console, to enable internet access and configure in the network menu. Plug the Power cord into the back of the console. Plug the alternate end of the power cord into a wall outlet.
Step 3: Switchingon the console and devices. Turn the television on that you will be using for the console and configure to the right display input. Turn on the Xbox 360 by pressing the circular button on the front right on the console. Then turn on the Xbox 360 controller by pressing the center “X” button on the controller
Step 4:Inserting the disk and starting a game Press the sliver eject button and place a disk on the tray that will eject outwards, then press the button again to put the disk into the console. On the Menu Screen go to the play “game title” and press the “A” button on the controller.
