  2. Xenon continued… • The heat sink used to cool the Xenon is composed of aluminum fins and a copper base and a heat pipe.

  4. The Graphic Card or “Xenos” • Designed by ATI • Contains two separate dies made of silicon, each built on a 90 nm process • Clock speed of 500 MHz • Xenos can do 4× FSAA, z-buffering • The GPU contains additional capabilities which are normally separated into a motherboard in PC systems

  5. Memory. • 512 MB of GDDR3 R • Clocked at 700 MHz • Transmission rate of 1.4 GHz • *Cool Fact*: Made by either Samsung or Qimonda • eDRAM internal logic to its internal memory bandwidth is 256 Gbit/s

  6. Audio • Uses 32-bit processing for audio, but supports 48 kHz 16-bit sound. • Each game which is made for the Xbox 360 needs to at least support Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.

  7. Xbox Live • Its an online multiplayer gaming and digital media service operated by Microsoft. • It launched in November, 15, 2002 • 40 Million people are on it.

  8. Features - Enables users to send messages back and forth. - Enables up to 8 people to chat with each other while simultaneously playing games, listening to music or watching videos/movies. - With the Kinect camera you can also have video chat with other users.
